OMG, I did it! Watched the LOTR's start to finish, pausing when getting food or beer or smoking a cig. I think my eyeballs wanna fall outa my skull about now. [img]eek.gif[/img]

I watched (well, ok, listened to) all 4 (or was it 5) hours of 5 days to Midnight on the Sci-Fi Channel today! It was great! Timothy Hutton made for TV mini series about a guy who finds a briefcase from the future with his unsolved murder file in it. Four and a half stars out of Five!
Definitely took a bite out of the 12 hours of computer uploading I had to do today!
OK....It was a piece of garbage that I wouldn't even wipe my butt with??? [img]wink.gif[/img] hehe
I was able to get thru the first hour of episode one, lost interest, then caught the last 1/2-hour of episode five later in the week. The premise of FIV5 Days To Midnight just didn't grab my interest.
It was? Well, maybe because you actually watched it with your face rather than your ass turned towards the TV like i usually do! [img]wink.gif[/img]
I didn't even realize it was from a full 50 years into the future for quite a while! Did you like it, Fozz?
I tried to watch it in bits during the week and it didn't hold my attention...somehow it's easier when you get it in a solid block.
Managed to find an entire stack of LOTR: ROTK today at Rite Aid! ALL of them FULL SCREEN! I almost bought one, 24.99...I bought my others used for $12, so I decided to wait for that opportunity, cause I know I'll have to buy the boxed set of 4 disks new as well.

Why overstock Fullscreen when everybody KNOWS to grab the Widescreen?
That's why they were the only ones left!
But that was because it was Beverly Hills too.
Watching wide screen on a tiny TV totally sucks. Before I got this fantastic DVD player that I currently have (which was a gift from a very dear friend) all I had to watch DVDs on was my 17 inch computer screen, and it was like watching a postage stamp if it was widescreen. All my early DVD purchases are full screen! I even swapped a few wides for fulls!
Watched 5ive Days Til Midnight the 4 consecutive nights it was on last week. Wasn't it based on
a UK mini series??? And it was obvious who sent the
briefcase to Hutton's character from the 1st episode. [img]smile.gif[/img]
